How it works
One duct in. One duct back.
The unit sits outside. One supply duct sends heated or cooled air into the building, and one return duct brings the building's air back. Right at the unit, a Y-connector joins the unit's two return ports into that one duct.
Heat mode. The heat pump pulls heat from the outside air and pushes warm, dry air through the building. No flame, no fuel.
- 1 supply duct: heated or cooled air into the building
- 1 return duct: building air back to the unit
- Y-connector at the unit joins its two return ports into one duct
- Plywood panel fitted in a window or door opening
01
Air comes back
One return duct pulls air out of the building. At the unit, a Y-connector feeds it into both return ports.
02
The unit treats it
The heat pump heats or cools it and moves up to 1,400 cubic feet of air a minute.
03
Air goes back in
One supply duct pushes it back inside, and it spreads through the floors.
