Questions
Good to know.
Do you install the unit?
You install it to your preferences. We give you the unit, and it's yours to use however you'd like for your rental. Standard ducts come with the unit, we're happy to help plan the duct runs, and custom ducting is available if your site needs something special.
What power does it need?
It plugs into a jobsite spider box, the temporary power distribution box almost every site already has, on a 230 V single-phase circuit (26 A). Not sure what yours can carry? Tell us what you have and we'll work it out with you.
Can one unit serve more than one building?
Yes. With the right duct runs, one unit can serve up to four buildings. Send us your layout and we'll help plan it.
Can it sit outside in the rain?
Yes. It's UL listed for outdoor use and built for jobsites, and it can be stored inside or out.
Why is it cheaper than diesel or propane heaters?
There's no diesel or propane to buy and no tanks to swap or refill. It runs on site power for one monthly rental price, so you save a ton on fuel. And unlike burning fuel, it doesn't add moisture to the building, which helps drywall, mud and paint dry.
Does it dehumidify?
Yes, and it dries the building in both modes. In cooling mode it pulls water out of the air and handles it on board. In heat mode it lowers the relative humidity with warm, dry air and adds none of the moisture diesel and propane heaters put into a building, so the space dries out instead of sweating.
Does it cool too?
Yes. Flip the switch to cooling and it puts out 42,000 BTU/h, for summer finish work, crews, and materials that don't like the heat.
